一、课程简介

《基础产品设计》课程是产品设计专业的立足基点,是打开专业设计大门的“钥匙”课程,其设计思维方法的训练贯穿于练习的始终,也是发现、分析、判断、解决问题能力训练的过程,是专业设计程序与方法课程的预习,是掌握系统论素质的准备。通过本课程学习研究形态要素和造型原理,理解形态存在的理由、形态之间的逻辑关系、形态的语义与寓意等,掌握形态要素之间互制、互动、共生的辩证关系,运用因材致用、因地制宜、因势利导的形态构成原则,在认识“限制”中,重组形态诸要素,实现“造型”的创意。本课程在教与学的过程中强调设计思维程序的应用,并通过“实际训练课题”来训练学生运用“眼、手、脑、心”的综合能力,以大量的实践和实际动手能力的训练相结合,通过实际的制作使学生将原来只发生在图纸上的认识,用自己的语言转化到三维的立体认识与评价体系中去,使学生具备一定的产品形态设计的能力。

二、课程目标

1.价值目标。

通过课程的学习,具有良好的社会规范和职业道德,在实践中认识到真实数据资料的收集与分析对专业工作结论的重要作用,通过对市场及用户的调查研究,深入了解当代消费者的生活与需求。

2.知识目标。

通过学习熟知并能复述产品设计与制造的通用流程,掌握市场调查与分析、用户研究、家具成型技术、结构分析的基本方法与原理。

3.能力目标。

通过实践可完成产品市场调查工作过程中的工作任务,逐步具备设计调查的组织与实施应用、资料整理与分析、产品意象的设计、统筹设计概念等能力。

4.综合素养。

逐步形成自我学习能力,培养小组合作意识,具有较强的团队合作和沟通能力。
